One thing about kids. They love to watch TV, even our kids. Of course our kids are six Great Danes, an Akita and three cats.

This photo shows Tember, our Manx. She is watching a larger relative in an old black and white movie. Another cat, Chan, used to come out and watch the Discovery Channel. She would actually be in another room, and when the Discovery Channel i.d. music would start, she would come in the room and watch. Chan, sadly, is no longer with us.

It isn't just the feline mind that enjoys the tube. Several of our Dane kids are real TV watchers, but more on them another day.

One interesting note, we have had more than one of those "made for pets" videos. These videos are produced for and promoted as something your pet will love to watch. None of those have ever caught our kids' interest. They prefer the real thing.
